The Buffalo Equestrian Center provides for the education of riders at all levels, starting at age six.
Both private and group lessons are taught Tuesday through Sunday all year.
Instruction is provided for all levels of riding from beginner walk-trot through intermediate and advanced jumping. Adult lessons are also available. Students are encouraged to participate in the care and preparation of their horse and will be instructed in the uses of tack and equipment.
All students must be members of the Buffalo Equestrian Center and at least six years of age.
All new students regardless of riding experience will start in a private flat lesson. Our instructors will then determine when and where to place you in a group lesson.
Students are encouraged to participate in the care and preparation of their horse and will be instructed in the uses of tack and equipment.
Good lesson horses are the key to any successful riding program. Our horses have been carefully selected for their manners and suitability. The facility stables approximately 15 lesson horses and ponies. Some are used for beginners and others are used by more experienced riders for showing and jumping.
We select experienced individuals to serve on the staff. Each staff member has been chosen for his or her knowledge of horses, ability to interact with people, and awareness of equine safety. They are extremely capable of providing assistance to riders at all levels of experience.
